About Park Slope Sketch
Living in Park Slope, I enjoy sketching the landmarks in the neighborhood.
By sketching, I hope to implant some of the wisdom of these landmarks into my mind. They have so much to say.
I sketch freehand, on location. I use a black pen on a 9 x 12 sketch pad. I don't use pencil. There is no tracing-over or retouching. I may exclude cars parked on the street and other items if they don't add to the architecture.
I hope visitors enjoy this site. It is much more satisfying to sketch when you can share them with others.

i thoroughly enjoyed your blog. love that you used the traditional Ecole d e Beaux Arts method in terms of rendering, the use of watercolor. even though some of the images are warped it is still really awesome. please continue posting
